Easter School Holiday Circus Classes

Join Mara Macs, Mandy Field and Cat Leone at the Castlemaine Goods Shed in the first week of the school holidays for tumbling, stilt walking, unicycle, acrobalance, preschoolers circus, physical theatre, and Hoola workshops.

50min / 60 min classes are $16

90 minute classes are $21

Tuesday 4th April

10am – 11am: Family Balance with Mara Macs

Grap your aunty, mum, dad, friend, niece and come along to an hour of acrobalance with Mara Macs.  This class requires you to find an adult/child pair (of any age) and you will learn a bunch of fun and accessible balances for the whole family.

11.15 – 12.45pm: 8+years Tumbling with Mara Macs

Join Mara for an intermediate tumbling class, where you will refresh the basics and push your skills to the next level.  (Beginners welcome, but must be 8+ years).

1 – 2pm: 8+years Stilt Walking and Uncicyle with Mara Macs

Learn how to Stilt Walk and Uncycling basics in a fun filled hour of skills with Mara. (No previous experience required, but participants must be 8+years.)

2.15 – 3.15pm: 5-8 years Hoola Hoopla with Cat Leone

Come spend an hour with Cat learning new Hoola techniques and tricks!

Thursday 6th April

10am – 10.50am: 3-5years Preschooler Circus with Mandy Field

Come and try out our super special circus class for little people, combining imaginative play, balance and tumbling basics.

11am – 12pm: 5-8years Physical Theatre with Mandy Field

This class will explore clown, character, improvisation and play

12.15 – 1.45pm 9-12years Physical Theatre with Mandy Field

90 minutes of improvisation, clown and character where we will develop short playful scenes to present to each other.

Castlemaine State Festival 2017: March 17 & 26

We performed in two free events in the Castlemaine State Festival:

1. The Public Opening of The Castlemaine State Festival on Friday 17th March, 7.15pm

2. The Don KR Garden Party on Sunday 26th March, 10.30am, Botanical Gardens Tea Room in the Tarrengower and Lalgambook: A Jaara Jaara Teaching.

These performances have been supported by Rotary.
