Aerial

Practice a contemporary style of aerial arts, learning to create the shapes and the various types of movement from one shape to another, creating dynamic connections between them. Castlemaine Circus teaches static trapeze and silks (tissu).

Students will build their upper body and core strength and improve their flexibility and agility. They will develop their confidence, control and awareness of their body. They will learn basic skills on all the apparatuses and develop choreographed movements on a favourite apparatus. Aerial classes are fun and social, a great class to do with a friend or to hang out with others. Minimum age is 10 years.

Teens will creatively choreograph a routine, research and rehearse new movements, develop their knowledge and skills and perform to an audience. The teens class caters for a more personalised and individualised approach within a fun, social setting.

The Aerial Adults class is small and is specialised for apparatus. Beginners and experienced practitioners all welcome.
