Parkour is a discipline in which practitioners (Traceurs) train to adapt their movements to efficiently overcome obstacles in their environment. Free Running is a related discipline in which the practitioner seeks out artistic and expressive ways of interacting with obstacles while moving through an environment.
This class teaches both Parkour and Freerunning, combining efficient movements such as vaulting, rolling, climbing and leaping with expressive movements like flips, saults, spins and twists. Students will improve their strength, agility, balance and coordination as they learn to traverse their environments and overcome physical and mental barriers.
Our trainers have had years of experience in practising and teaching Parkour. They have created exciting and challenging classes, capturing each skill into levels of learning and opportunities for students to support each other in a positive way.
The Open Sessions are an opportunity to do self directed training with assistance from the coaches. Open to teens and adults to jam in the space, try new tricks and ask for guidance on particular skill development. If you are already enrolled in another class, this is a chance to practice what you have learned with the trainers present. If you are a beginner to Parkour, the coaches will teach you Parkour skills to practice and develop.
